It's true I really did. I've been a big fan for years and have seen him many times in concert. He arrived in the UK yesterday and a friend (a television producer) told me he was coming on his show and did I want to come down - 'does a bear shit in the woods?' It was fucking amazing - the show was hilarious - he had the whole crew and the presenter pissing themselves with laughter and he ended the show with 'Ice Cream Man'. He came into the Green Room afterwoods signed autographs, posed for photos, drank whisky, smoked cigarettes and told some great stories. They say you should never meet your heros but bollox to it he was fucking amazing chatted to everybody signed my t-shirt and drew me a picture. The guy is hilarious and was on great form. He can't wait to do the shows, he did tell me he was going to call the tour 'No Sleep Till Bagdad' and then cracked up laughing. I've even got passes for Club Dave. A memory which will live with me for ever! I do have a photo but I don't know how to get it onto the forums - but I'll happily e-mail the photo. Hammersmith Odeon - see ya down the front!

The show was the Johnny Vaughn show on BBC3 - it went out live at 8 '0' clock last night. The producers liked him so much they want him back on the show this week. The presenter only got in two questions - of which he didn't answer either but told a very funny story about his pet parrot Detox!Comment

Your right he does look exactly the same as '94 - I'm going home to London at the weekend to see the gig so I'll see if I can pick up a copy and sort out an mpeg. Panamark I didn't ask - to be honest it didn't feel quite right - everybody was having such a laugh - but the presenter who turned out to be a big Dave fan got him to sign an album to which he signed 'To Rich, I rock so you don't have to - Dave Lee' - fucking brilliant!Comment
