My Dad met Dave in '86 and scored me a personalized and autographed copy of EEAS. My dad was friends with an executive at a local Denver radio station and he pulled some strings. My dad said Dave was a fucking cat and was nothing like his Rock and Roll Persona. Also, when my pop asked for an autograph for his son, he said how killer Dave was. Anyway, that's my only claim to DLR fame.

I have wanted to meet Diamond Dave for years and I guess I never will, so it pleases me no end to hear stories from those who have just to get a little inside info on the man!!
I'm thinking of being really sad and hanging outside the stage door after the gig on Saturday, but i'm guessing he'll just rush by and leap into his limo!
