Oh, don't get me wrong, the Dederian brothers that owned that club, should be shot along with Jack Russell, and the president of GW's management company, for that holocaust. Someone needs to sent a hitman out, for what those clowns did.

I didn't mean to totally tee off on GAR, but damnit that whole thing still makes me sick to my stomach, and what is not going to happen, around me anyway, is any misinformation on that totally avoidable disaster.

Lookit, everybody here that has worked the small club circuit, knows the number of dumps you play in, knows that most the owners are worthless slime, etc. Jack Russell and his bandmates knew better than to use that pyro in that club.

They had played that club before, shortly after the Dederian's bought it, they got to that club around 2:00 pm. that afternoon for setup, for a 11:00 pm. gig,....I am saying they knew that club was an old wooden tender trap with only 10 ft ceilings, with a two foot tall stage. GW knew they were using a triple shot "fan" pyro with three 8 - 12 foot charges in them.

The club they played in Maine, two nights before (the name of the club was Russell's Nightclub, of all irony) had almost identical stage and ceiling heights. The Maine State Fire Marshall, said that had this club not had flame resistant ceiling tiles, GW probably would have burnt that club down when their pyros hit the ceiling.

Secondly, the Dederian brothers were typically small venue owner slime, but they knew how to grease the local town officials pockets. Their club, with that highly flammable foam, that acts like highly toxic napalm once ignited, had a clean “bill of health” from the local fire marshall inspector, with minor corrected exceptions.

So the Dederian’s play dumb and ignorant on the foam, hell the Fire Marshall inspector never said anything about it,…. why?….because the town needed the tax revenue that the club generated so bad.

Like I said, the whole deal totally stunk. The experts said the flashover fire, fed by the foam and a backdoor to the side of the stage being propped open in that club, providing plenty of fresh cold oxygen, killed and injured everyone in 3 – 5 minutes.

There wasn’t shite anybody could to do to save those people. Luckly, the area got hit with the worst snow storm in history, 3 days before the gig, or another 100 – 150 people could have been in that club when it burnt down in minutes.

Further, the only reason Russell toured and threw some chump money change the victims way, was to try to keep from getting indicted, (look like he was trying to do the right thing to the R.I. Grand Jury) and to pay his legal bills. - Nothing else. Everybody in the biz know’s it, and will not give that MoFo the time of day.

My friend was Ty Longley that was playing with GW at the time, that died in that holocaust. Per phone calls to a friend of his, who testified to the R.I. Grand Jury, twice Longley asked that fucking Jack Russell to stop using that pyro on the Tour “before the band killed someone” – that was Ty’s exact words according to the testimony,...

AND those are the facts in this matter.

Another band that treats their fans like crap for reasons not already mentioned are Motley Crue. How many times can the same album be re-released? I believe there are four different versions of the To Fast for Love available plus the copy included in the box set and at least 4 copies of greatest hits albums floating around. Then you have 2 autobiographies by Tommy Lee (Tommyland & the Dirt). Then the embarassment of the Surreal Life, Vince's chicken dance, Vince's makeover, Tommy in the marching band, and his rapping career. Additionally, they've had 4 different touring lineups in the past decade (a record that the VH sisters would be proud of).
