What are The chances that homosexual sheep love Necroposting?

Honestly?
I don't think he's with us now.
Ed's playing is pathetic these days and they would just drag Dave down with them.
I don't just want a VH that goes through the motions. If they cannot ignite the "MIGHTY" aspect of the classic era then there is absolutely no point at all in it.
The nostalgia factor would last until Ed fucks up, then the dynamics of the whole thing will change for everyone.
I have never walked out of a Roth era show thinking it sucked, and i have a feeling that's what would happen.
I know it's not 20 years ago, and they are older, but that won't change the expectations of the fans wanting to see them in their old glory.
Sorry, I just don't see it working on Ed's end of it. the man proved that he has no problems taking top dollar for a ticket to watch him suck badly live.
Daves standards of excellence are higher than Ed's at this point.

Ford
hopefully no chance. I saw Dave a few months ago and heard what VHagar was like last year and I can confirm that this holy reunion that I myself have been wanting for years would truly bring Dave down...assuming it would last more than a month of tour dates.
kinda gives new meaning to that ol' 80's band name - Faith No More.
more like Want No More.
Dave kicks ass with or without Halen, even today. Period.
It's a weird atmosphere around all involved right now. Spammy went crawling back to the waboritos and is trying to make another mini - cash grab tour this year. From all accounts, it sounds like Dave is expanding his horizons by learning the EMT gig, more power to him. The brothers? It's anybody's guess how long until they blow through last year's cash grab and need another tour to pay the ex's/lawyers/liquor store.....it doesn't seem to me like it would happen this year.
Just Ed and Dave, that's all they and WE need. Money in the bank. They could grab any drummer and bass player they want. Change them in fact, for every major city they tour. But the one thing that remains is Dave and Ed.

Originally posted by Van Squalen Dave reuniting with VH would barely ripple on the public's radar, my fine feathered friend. It would, however, ripple OUR collective ponds, of course. The radio stations would hype it for maybe a month or so. A few hack former pseudo-metal types , like Dee Snider or Kip Winger, might offer a few sound bytes to VH1 or Kurt Loder on the breadth of Classic Van Halen reunited at long last. Maybe. Leading CNN stories...nah.
So they'll get even more attention than Van Hagar, eh VS? Most of those guys prefer Dave. It's true and a verifiable statistical fact that 80's metal wankers prefer Dave era Classic Van Halen 57% more than Van Hagar.
Furthermore, Kurt Loder once wrote on his web blog that he "lays awake in bed at night and dewily strokes his little fireman when he thinks of the possibility of one day reporting a story on a Classic Van Halen reunion."
