    New Hagar Quotes...Such Bullshit!

A few snippets taken from a new Hagar interview:

If there's ever a possibility for another VAN HALEN tour, I'd be interested down the road or something, but right now, we just did it and rather than do that again, I wanna go out and play 'Mas Tequila' and 'One Way to Rock'. It's really funny — as an artist, I've had so many songs that I've written and done, made records… you can't just leave that alone.

However, he expects Ed, Alex and Mike to do this...Fucking hypocrite.

"I'm sure we'll do [another VAN HALEN tour] again sometime. The first 11 years I was in VAN HALEN, it was like no solo stuff — it was pure VAN HALEN —

No. It was pure Van Hagar.
I like to pay close attention to the things I'll forget later...

I agree. The people who have been to Dave's most recent shows say that he has his sonic scream and voice better than ever.

                          What a liar.

I found the track listing of the Live Without A Net video, and there's Hagar solo songs on there - One Way To Rock and I Can't Drive 55. There's also a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Rock And Roll," which I would group with the Hagar solo songs, since VH never recorded that on an album. They only performed it on that tour to take up time, being too ignorant to play any Roth songs and also because the few songs they left off of the setlist from the 5150 album were even shittier than the ones they left on (hard to believe, but it is possible).

One Way To Rock was played until at least the 1991 F.U.C.K. tour, it's on RHRN which was recorded on that tour. Can't Drive 55 was performed right up to and including the Balance tour. And who can forget Spammy's miserable "acoustic solo" numbers, Give To Live/Eagles Fly/Deeper Kind Of Love? He's been doing those since 1991 at least, usually two per night. So I don't think there's been a concert they ever played where there's been no Hagar solo material. The 2004 tour was the first (Hagar) tour, EVER, where the whole band didn't play a Hagar solo song (there were the solo acoustic numbers, though).

O.K. let mee see if I got this right....Alex and Eddie feel Sammy's better for the band than Dave? Sammy's more of a team player? Give me a fucking break.

This from a man who can't play like he used to anymore.
