I can't believe Sammy made the comment about no solo stuff during the Van Hagar years. It's just like the 40 million albums comment he once made. He seems to think people actually believe this crap just because he said it. Then again, a few journalists over the years have bought his spin.
I agree with Panamark. This interview tells me Sammy is out and the band has no long term plans. As far as I'm concerned this means a return to what's been going on for years now. The brothers trying to get Dave, their first choice to play with, to accept their terms and do a reunion, with the threat of bringing Sammy, a distant second choice, back if he doesn't agree. After last years fiasco the brothers have significantly less leverage. Speculation of course!Comment
