SAMMY HAGAR Says He Is 'Sure' There Will Be Another VAN HALEN Tour - Feb. 25, 2005
"If the American people had ever known the truth about what we (the BCE) have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched." - Poppy Bush, 1992
You fuckin' idiot. You want ONE MORE ALBUM with Sammy?
Did you hear those latest "songs"? Did you really think that material had any signs of life?
Christ, dude...even older Van Shitgar material was better than an abomination like UPCHUCK FOR BREAKFAST.
Last year's tour and songs were a sham. That line-up is a sham. It's clear Sam is moving on. Eddie is, as well. And vocals already on the tracks he's working on that date back to 2000? Gee....

LOL. I didn't even read FORD's post before I made mine.

Originally posted by Lou I wouldn't thank them that quickly. We still had to endure a VERY painful latter half of 2004.
Don't worry. I'm sure you still relive thet tour in FLAC Lossless format.:D

Hagar released solo studio material when he was in Van Halen. and his solo material was represented live, so not quite sure what the fuck he's talking about when he says there was "like no solo stuff, it was pure Van Halen" when he was in the band.
Has always been a pain in the ass trying to pick out the truth out of what EVH, AVH and SH say in interviews, because they flat-out lie consistently about things that are both easily disproven and serve no purpose lying about.
Hard to imagine Hagar thinks what he's got going solo-wise these days is any better than what Van Hagar's been doing. Probably just him trying to save face because he didn't get an offer to rejoin the band full-time.
Whatever. Only real news of interest coming out of the Van Halen camp for me will be if and when Roth rejoins, and even that at this point isn't gonna get me revved up like it did in 1996 and 2000. A case of diminishing returns in terms of excitement each time the sisters are in limbo and Roth rumors start to recirculate. Gonna reach a point where I could give a fuck soon enough.

I do seem to recall "One Way to Rock" and "Give to Live" being included on the Van Hagar live album, and "Can't Drive 55" being on the "Live Without a real singer" video. I guess Eddie & Alex must have played on those original recordings, uncredited. Of course, they didn't sound like Van Halen, but then, neither did anything on the Van Hagar albums.

I heard that in fact they ARE back together with sammy and they're going to be doing a cover version of that dance tune that goes "I see you baby...shaking that ass...shaking that ass...shaking that ass".
Sam is basically like the dude that goes down the ski jump and crashes in spetacular fashion and then tells the press "It was fun and I gave it my best shot! See you at the next olympics!" Then nobody here's from the dude again. Hopefully. LOL!
I seriously doubt after the luke warm reception they received from the Bore Tour that they would do anything more with Hagar. But then again the sisters are pretty stubborn. And the only way they could avoid playing the clubs and stay in arena's, is if they open for U2. As far as releasing new material, they would have to go independant. No record company in their right mind would back a Hagar led VH.

You know what I mean?! It would be like… If everybody could stay happy, then we could do it. But I mean, it was great. The VAN HALEN tour was fanstastic. Some of the highlights of that tour were certainly in the Detroit area — those shows were on fire, Joe Louis arena. Those were some of the best shows we did."
you may want to inform Gamera about this. :D
