            What did the band do for the VH tunes he played, just act like they were playing along with the Van Halen records? Or did Dave just play all solo stuff? Thats weird, I'm surprised Dave just didnt cancel the show....

                As far as I know he played his tunes. But that Im not positive on since I didn't attend the only one show I could've. Im just going by the sign, the picture on the sign, the caption on the sign and the newspaper the next morning. It was all praise for Dave, saying that in a time where most singers or bands would cancel that type of show due to that particular problem (voice loss) it was cool and professional in doing what he did.

                    Most people on this site dont realise that there is so much more to dave than whats been said already.                         I'm glad I didnt go to that show, seeing Dave would be cool and all but just hearing him sing along with the records would be a major drag, anyway if Dave doesnt come to Toronto again I am making a run across the border to see him next time he plays Detroit or Buffalo or whatever.....Are you north of Toronto BT, like Markam or something? I used to live in Stouffville up until a few years ago.....

                                You said you lived 3 miles from Toronto, North Bay? Damm, North Bay is alot closer then I thought, I should be able to take the TTC there in about 15 minutes..... :D

                                    did I say 3 miles? I meant to say 3 hr drive. about 300 miles. or is it Km's? I dunno. It takes 3 hrs to drive, @ 100 km an hr...so about 300kms.
