Dave always promoted his bands and was a flamboyant part of those bands but much like Johnny Carson, Dave was public only with his public persona and was one of the best at what he did. On the otherside of the coin is a private life that is never talked about. We all know about Diamond Dave but David Roth keeps to himself and out of sight. I think that's cool. Shit, at least Dave isn't trying to sell us everything under the sun on a cheesey website or starts his shows off with a 10 minute movie telling us how great he is. Dave isn't banging on the window with some signature merchandise to sell us. He's above that shit. I think it's cool.
