Thanks for the great effort Mezro. I'm very curious to hear Big Ed's replies. The questions totally kick ass and get to the point. What is the "real deal" w/ Dave???
This would have made for a great interview. But what the fuck is up with the hair questions?
I realize Mezro is trying to ask hard hitting questions and not hold back which is admirable. Most fans and/or interviewers would never have the guts to ask such questions. But these questions are just plain rude. Some people might find them very offensive in the same way as if you’d ask someone if they put on weight or if they are gay. It’s non of our fucking business. This interview loses all credibility with these kind of comments. Who would want to answer such disrespectful questions? Why not: “Dave, have you had your prostate examined?”
This is exactly what is wrong with the music industry today. This is the reason a lot of “older acts” don’t get any respect or credibility because people think that age equals loss of talent. It’s all about looks. Why help the Roth bashers out (who’ve only got “hair”, “fat” and “old” comments to begin with) by asking such stupid questions. I don’t care if we’re fans or not, it’s non of our business. It's the music that counts.
Whenever the Roth bashers post these kind of comments they get slaughtered. But here we have “Mr. 60 minutes” himself, Mezro doing the same fucking thing.
A lot of those questions sound like they have been ripped straight from Metal Sludge.
Cant really blame Ed for believing such an interview was going to effect his reputation negatively.
