number one hits does not have any relevancy on influence...

led zeppelin ring a bell? while they had number one albums, they never had a number one song (whole lotta love reached number 4 on the charts)

that proves your theory is shit...

                The Bottom Line

Yes. Eddie is great and is one of the most influence guitarars of all time. He inspire kids all over the world to become a shredder on the guitar like him. But to say his only great body of work was with DLR is ludicrous. Listen to 5150 album. Yes, there's keyboard but his solos are still amazing. The riff for the song 5150 is a guitarars favorite. Don't say that BOBW is not a great guitar song.

From the brown sound of 5150 to the diversity on OU812 to the innovation yet good ol hard rock on Carnal Knowledge to the full guitar sound on Balance is just a display of Eddie's mastering of guitar. Eddie took the guitar playing to new height and uncharted territory during the 5150 era.

Eddie never stop the growth as a guitarar. You may not like the VH3 album but Eddie's work on that is astonishment. 3 was Eddie's most important work. Ask him.

Oh, You Ate One Too?!? \m/\m/!!!

no, most of the solos on that song suck, the only solo that i will say is good is the outro solo on good enough... why? because ed had been using that for 3 years as the introduction to his tours (most relevant on the US festival intro)...

the riff to 5150 is junk and not a guitarists (you shoiuld learn how to sell to you assclown) favorite. Best of both worlds is a shitty song as well...

5150, was a subpar effort, Ou-shat-one-too was full of cheesy i wanna hold my girl songs and the third album was full of wanna be aggressive songs (has to be the worst tone of eds ive ever heard). no, balance is proff that he leveled off, not grew, as a guitarist

and yes, eddie did stop growing as a guitarist (basically the same live guitar solo since 1982 is NOT growing)...

vh3 is not even good enough to be used as a coaster, it might turn my drink into piss...

do you know for a fact that vh3 was his most important work? have you personally asked im yourself?

why don't you choke on my dick you sorry excuse for a human being...

                              sorry ass alias...
