Van Hagar and Sammy mutually accepted that they produce crap music

Those three new songs were the best they could do.
And its obvious to all involved, that they sucked.

So after the "Cash Grab Fuck the Promoters" tour, there
was no other option for them but to call it quits.

Those 3 songs are special. They will go down in history
as a permanent reminder why Van Hagar should
    never record an album again..

In contrast, the last officially released tracks with Dave,
    were excellent..

Its obvious both Sammy and the Van Halens realize they
cant work together, and their best efforts were crap...

So much for your new album Spamsters :D

    Well said, Panamark.

How does one say it down under?? "Right onya mate?!?!"

They pulled those three songs out of their ass to generate "excitement" for a Summer tour.

Unfortunately, those three lackluster tunes resulted in a completely lackluster tour....and a lukewarm response from a largely indifferent fan base.

They still have one last chance to be kings, if even for a brief, shining moment. Let's hope they finally do the right thing.

        Hey, I tried!!

I've learned all of my Australian catchphrases from my kids videos of "The Wiggles." And Bruce the shark from "Finding Nemo."

By the way, could y'all take The Wiggles back and keep 'em??

After giving it some thought....I stand corrected.

Greg is definitely a better singer than Sammy...and a snappier dresser.

            And the TRUE "Red Rocker".........MURRAY!!!!

Those three tracks got no airplay, least not in my area. Talking none, zip, nada. Van Hagar 2004 were a blip on the rock media radar screen. The less-than-packed houses Sam Halen played to last year, contrasting Hagar's boasting beforehand, gave someone the tipoff....if not Van Hagar than at the very least those who promoted the shows and gave Ed and the boys that guaranteed fee.
Just not much interest in Van Hagar anymore. Hearing those three 2004 tunes on the net, just think Ed's all done. Van Hagar 2004 had roughly the same amount of time as the reunited CVH did in 1996 to provide some new music and release it along with (another) grestest hits compilation. THE VERY LEAST any reasonable person can say about the 1996 CVH tracks is that they reflected a degree of effort made in the songwriting, recording and production process, putting aside the issue of one actually liking the results or not. Shit, even Van Hagar 1986-1996 put out albums that demonstrated a passing relationship with SOME effort being made toward putting out those records. The 2004 tracks sounded like they were made up on the spot (please tell me they're not representative of the best music EVH came up with from 1999-2004) and recorded with one eye on the clock. Subpar even by Van Hagar standards.
              Scramby eggs and bacon.

I swear to God I have never heard any of the 3 new tracks.

Once, when the CD dropped, I heard the DJ say it was comin up next on the radio...

But I was at my destination....

And I sure as hell wasnt gonna sit in the car to hear the new Spammy...

(Try explainin that and not sound like a complete and utter ass fucker!)

                Fuck Spam.

They actually play alot of Spam where I'm from. Maybe 20%.

Which is 20% too goddamn much.

                Roth On!!

i'm not really a van hagar fan, but i admit i wanted to hear how those songs sounded. one came on the radio one day, and i got a little pang of excitement. will the music suck? i changed it within 2 minutes of it being on. i don't remember which one it was-maybe the breakfast one, but it was AWFUL! even for them! i actually first felt bad for anyone that would put out those songs on the radio for all to hear. then i felt glad, because now, especially after the tour, that incarnation of "van halen" is dead. so it's over or it just might be MUCH better someday. that simple.

Those 3 songs are a testement to how truly AWFUL a lyricist Spam Hagar is. Absolutely UN-AIRABLE. DETROIT RADIO wouldn't touch 'em!

And the 2004 FLEECE THE SHEEP TOUR?!? 5,000 people to see van hagar.....anywhere?!? They ought to be FUCKING ASHAMED of themselves.

It is a proven fact that they havent been able to make music since FUCK since then no one not even van hagar fans could make a case that their music is good. But they have never been able to make good music ever. Cant get enough of this stuff no more, and me wise magic proved that dave can still produce tracks even though that was 9 years ago.

I think the Hagar fans convinced themselves that these songs were good. Thats how ignorant they are. I bet you none of them even
                              listen to those songs now..
