I heard Me Wise Magic on the radio not too far back and thought that was cool. Two DJs discussed it after and they both loved it.

They made decent music, a few stellar tunes. But compared to Classic Van Halen it's no contest. I'm not a huge Sammy fan by any means, but "Marching to Mars" is not a bad CD...I actually saw that tour, But once again Roth blew him away. The main point here is that Roth has never dissapointed me Live...he rocks!

I'm convinced Eddie never wanted to work with Sammy again, but was 'forced' into it by 'others' for a myriad of reasons. There's clearly no chemistry in the Van Hagar line-up and really there never was. 5150 was their best album and that music was already long written before Sammy came along. Talk about flogging a dead horse.

Yes those three new songs were shockers and BOBW lasted just three weeks, if my memory serves me right, in our official top 50 album chart! Never once heard any of the new songs on the radio here.
GNR's Greatest Hits lasted about 6 months in the top 50!
