HAGAR On EDDIE VAN HALEN: We're 'Not As Friendly As I Would've Wanted To Be' - May 2, 2005 According to ABC ePrep, VAN HALEN singer Sammy Hagar says that while he and guitarist Eddie Van Halen patched up the rift between them, they're "not as friendly as I would've wanted to be." Still, as Hagar told the New York Daily News, the members of VAN HALEN got along well on their reunion tour last year "until the end, when we were getting on each other's nerves. There was no real leader, so we started doing the same show every night. There was no spontaneity, and that got to me." That's not likely to be the case with Hagar's current tour with his band THE WABOS. Hagar says his show will be classic Hagar, "but I'm going to add a few new things and the show will be cooking."

Hagar is friends with celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, and he says he's going to appear on Lagasse's Food Network show on May 17.

Perhaps Ed had a relevation (hey I spell it how I want to spell it, awright?) during one of his drunken binges, and realized that Spammy was a third-rate fluffer.

Perhaps this is why on the last show of the tour King Edward The Drunk broke some guitars and talked a buncha shit onstage.

He probably had a dim lightbulb go on in his mushy brain that caused him to realize that he should never have broken up with Dave, and that he had sold his soul for Spam since 1986.

Is Sammy trying to stir up some controversy a la the long-running press feud between Roth and Van Halen? Looking to generate some interest in your career, Sambo? Sorry, Chubs, but it ain't gonna work. Everyone knows you swallowed your pride, followed by several pounds of nacho cheese, and called up AVH in 2003, sniffing around trying to get back into the band. And Van Hagar got all chummy again, locked arms and swished out onto the road last year.

Guess Sam needs to shift the blame for the half-filled venues and lack of media interest onto Eddie and off of himself. Fuckin' red gayness still not wanting to accept his role in the lack of interest in Sam Halen's 2004 reunion vs. a future CVH reunion.

I didn't like Emeril before now I really don't like him. Emeril is full of gimmicks. His bottled sauces are overpriced and poor quality. His resturant is nothing special. He's an average cook who runs his mouth, uses a band as distraction. He's a carnival huxter basically.

You aren't going to see Emeril on the Iron Chef anytime soon because he's not in that league. Wolfgang Puck is boring and just wears a plain chefs jacket. He's classically trained in French and Italian cusine and has spent years in both countries. The guy does amazing flambe and made my jaw drop as he butterflyed a trout perfectly. Emeril doesn't even come close. Eat at Emeril's and then eat at Spago's, big difference!

Sammy and Emeril. Man, they are the same in my book. Masturbating monkeys begging for attention.
