SO...the lines of communication have not closed on the REAL reunion, in fact, they are very open!!

and THE REUNION...will be THE LAST VH tour ever!

I believe it. I think Scorpioboy was talking to the band too. Plus with the recent Mike Anthony interview stating that they "tried" to do a reunion with Dave a few times already, just proves that everyone, not just us Dave fans, but EVERYONE knows that a Classic Van Halen reunion tour MUST happen- Including Edward, Mike and Al. So fuck you Sammy! :D

Also heard bout a private party DLR & Deniis DE Young played for a chicago board of trade member recently! An old friend was there thinking Dave would be the new t.v show quality of the old 80's bands/solo which does not add up! However he was BLOWN FUCK AWAY by DLR BAND! So uh, Carmine, about the DLR reunion, I'm not saying there's no hope, but i was on eddievanhalen.com, and i read that Micheal Anthony said there have been numerous attempts to get together over the past four years. So, I'm just letting you know, don't get your hopes up. Although, you probably have better info to rely on than i do.

There have been numerous attempts to get the fellas back together, but lawyers have gotten in the way.

Many of us still keep hope though.

Christ, if Pink Floyd can get it done (even for just one show), why the hell can't Van Halen?

Sammy's songs suck. Dave doesn't need to sing any of that crap. And, I'm certain that's one of the major issues that keeps the reunion from materializing. Dave has never objected to cover songs, but why should he start singing shitty ones?

Dave worked on alot of the songs that ended up on 5150. (early on) Be interesting to finish them up his way. Maybe then he would sing them if they got back together and toured
