Never understood why anyone liked Mike, at least, not for his unbelievably pedestrian bass playing.

Mind you, it must be harder than ever for him to play even competently now, with so much of his upper torso wedged firmly in Sammy's crack. :D

I'm with you on that one. When Dave is back it would not be Van Halen without those background vocals. Ive always loved the way Mike plays bass, Fair Warning is testimony to that. I don't think Mike playing with Spammy is neither here nor there, he just loves to play and thats his opportunity to do that. What else is he gonna do? Sit back on the coach and eat potato chips?

When the real Van Halen play, I for one WANT Mike there.

Bah. Don't even care if Mike turns up should Ed come to his senses and start working with Dave again. Same goes for Al.

Mike doesn't have anything essential to bring to the table anymore. Suppose it wouldn't be a proper CVH reunion without him, but wouldn't break my heart if Dave and Ed went out and toured, left Mike and Al at home and got other people to cover bass and drums; wouldn't stop me from buying a ticket.

I like James Lomenzo and Ray Luzier better than Mike an Al, so I agree with Terry. I wouldn't care if they left them two behind, and would love them to use Ray and James.
