What part (if any) does everyone think Valerie Bertinelle played in DLR leaving VH?

According to legend, she was a part of it. But I guess if the friendship between dave and the band was limited towards 1984, his type of personality did not help either. In fact when they tried that thing in 96, I read a quote from valerie saying that Dave was a completely different person from the guy she use to know. I say shut your fucking Hole, Suck COck and Let the greatest fucking band kick serious ass. Just my opinion.

The group never was breaked up

Actually, break up is using the word in wrong way. VH never breaked up. One member left and was being in replacement by someone else. VH continued to thrive as the very successful after the line-up change.

If VH is not continue after David left, then the word break up would be apply. I think the word CHANGE would be more appropriate in opposing as the word BREAK UP. The group never breaked up. That is one misconception some fans have I notice.

Dave and the other three members of VH never really got along from the beginning. They were lucky to last as long as they did.

listen to the sern interview i have in another post from 92. He said, Val felt like dave was taking up personal time from eddie and her. But she wasen't the problem. Eddie was the reason for the breakup. He was always drinking and doing drugs. It was getting impossible for them to record. Val left eddie a shitload of times, because of it. Ed has been in and out of rehab sooo many times. So, the reason why van halen broke up, was ed's drinking.. And the reason why they may stay broken up, is ed's drinking..

Valerie Bertinelli was not quite the Yoko Ono of Van Halen, but she certainly directed Eddie away from keeping up with the jones's of the band. That's precisely why Ed refused to go directly back into the studio to work on an album and tour in 1985. Ed wanted to spend more time with Val. Time is money, and wasting time is wasting money.

Any idea what happens to Arnie? He melts down in T-III, in real life while Gov. (da body ain't what it used to be), and when he gets caught with no budget in a couple years, he gets caught AND MELTED DOWN.

Some d-bag played by Jesse or somebody sticks a little scorpion and stomps it. The Predator doen't think that is a good follow to the raid on the guerilla camp, where Carl and Arnie and Jesse and pals get Elpedia, who looks hella like Val.

Arnie whacks the Pred, but he gets half a killer sunburn from that personal nuke sandcrab-face was packing. Val-lookalike Elpedia gets a ride home in a cool Blackhawk. What'sitallmean? Semper FUBAR?
