OK I gotta confession to make. I used to get into Poison back in the day. I was young and dumb. They had a nice parody feel to them, and me and a mate used to cook up Hoytz Essence or some $5 booze (remember that!!) while listening to Open Up And Say...Ahh. Good memories, can't erase those feelings. At least they didn't load their albums with ballads and synth like Sam Halen did. But then again, a misguided Ed would probably shit on a decent CC.
I'm very proud of what was that band and what was that show and what it did mean to people. It disgusts me that it has turned into the complete opposite. That it now represents everything that I spoke against, that we suppoesedly represented the converse of. I don't want to have to remember that the team turned into that. Makes me question what the team was while I was a member. Was it all bullshit? If nothing else, it confirms in my mind that from my standpoint - yours truly, David Lee - not a fraction. If nothing else, this kind of morbid, wounded animal anger aimed my way has caused me to look deep into that bathroom mirror and come back to you with "my shit was legit." It was for real. And perhaps the test is time. Because here I am, a decade and a half later, haven't changed much. I look a little different, but not much. My sense of humour is about the same.

        Ouch!
Knowing and believing are two very different things.

It is the difference between the knowledge we accrue... ...and the knowledge we apply.

Actually Poison on record, I can dig. But I've had the misfortune of seeing Poison three times even though I didn't want to.

First time was opening for Dave in 1988. They were awful.

Second time, I won tickets at a bar. The opening act was Tesla. Imagine a band that can play like Tesla opening for Poison. Tesla just blew me away and then Poison came out and CC's awful guitar playing made me puke.

Third time, was the Winger, Faster Pussycat, Cinderella, Poison show. I paid to see the first three especially FP and Cinderella and then walked out after the first two Poison songs.

Poison is the live equivalent to being assraped in public....Shitty no matter what price!
            Stay Frosty, muthas!

I didn't interview his ass! That was when the Brothers had called Dave after the first DLR Band tour. CC was at some festival and a guy named South Texas Rocker, I think, got him on video saying that he had heard that Dave was definitely back with VH.

Shit you think that is bad, ask POJO where the Kip Winger interview is. I shit you not, we did an interview with Kip Winger....notice we never posted it. :D
