Thanks for posting those pics, thats awesome, it helps refresh my memory. I though Roth looked a lot better without the bleached white hair, he was in good shape and the short hair looked better.

One of the things that was so cool about seeing Roth was that he made you feel happy to be there, even if he was miserable himself inside, he was such a professional that you would never know because he himself seemed happy to be there. That smile and little dance he kept doing kept making me laugh the whole night, and those tunes just cant be beat! I like the way he really seems like he's leading his band and gives them alittle more of a swing feel.

...Van Halen are idiots not to have Roth in the band, honestly that night in Santa Cruz I didnt care at all about it though.

Did Roth get that radio gig taking over for Howard Stern? Is he gonna keep touring for awhile?

Like I said, I've seen Roth a couple times before over the last 2 or 3 years, but I had such a good time at the Santa Cruz gig. I've seen a lot of shows over the years also, but this DLR show ranks up there fun-wise with seeing Kiss on the 96 reunion tour 3rd row (man it was so exciting seeing Stanley and his sparkley guitar behind the curtain before it dropped) and seeing Motley Crue in, I think 1999 at the Warfield in San Francisco. If only I could see AC/DC in a club now.

Hey Starwood, thanks alot!! Dave looks fucking great. Look at him showin' off that classic Diamond Dave smile in those shots. Nobody ROCKS like Dave, nobody KICKS ASS like Dave and nobody can ever TAKE THE PLACE of Dave. And if Ed can't figure that out then WE are the ones that have lost. I want to hear what those brownpounders have to say now (the ones that said Dave is looking rough these days) after seeing these pictures. 5 stars Starwood.
