Hey, I am a perfectionist as well. I will sometimes take weeks to play a solo I am happy with when I am recording. But do I sob about it? Throw temper tantrums? Break my guitars, my fist, other equipment, etc.? Hell no!

Why should I? I am an adult. I act like one.

Do you know ed personally? do you know for sure he "sobs about stupid shit?" have you been in the same room with him and seen him sob about some stupid shit? I read so much shit on here about eddies this or ed is a drunk but none of you even know him. it's just pathetic speculation. so eddie could'nt do the mix on that album, allegedly. so what? andy johns is good at that shit. thats what he does. being in a studio around a bunch of equipment like that is very stressful. just because eddie is the king of 10 fingers and six strings does'nt mean he knows how to do a bitchin mix. this website has not just david lee roth tags but van halen dog-tags on it too. but there is a few little gossip starting sock fuckers on here that started all this anti-van halen bull shit and some of you need to grow a personality and think for yourself. this little jump on anything you hear and milk it to fuckin death shit is stoopid. So what if Ed WAS a great guitarist and accomplished a lot....his career is in the fucking toilet, and those of us who have always been in his fucking corner due to his amazing virtuosity are fucking pissed off that he is letting it be that way.

He goes out on tour and is so drunk that he makes a complete ass of himself....my best fucking friend saw him at one venue where a van pulled up to the backstage entrance, they opened the fucking side door, and he was so fucked up that he could not figure out how to undo his own seat belt!!!

I do not WANT to know Ed "personally". I am not into hanging out with drunks who act like fucking 2-year-olds.

20 years of lame music? your opinion. and it's no secret that eddie and andy johns had a falling out. of course he's gonna talk shit about eddie. and keep in mind that valerie is an ex. exs' love to talk shit & exaggerate the truths. again this is coming from people who are not involved with ed anymore. and dont believe one side of a story. you know there are always two sides to every story and you then have to weigh that out. sammy has contradicted himself in the past so anything he says, take with a grain of salt. eddie admitted he had or has a problem with alcohol but I dont think that's whats going on here right now. eddie IS partly responsible but not like some of you here make it. you all act like it's entirely his fault because the roth reunion did'nt take hold. some here act like everyone including DLR was in the studio ready to record but ed was passed out drunk on the couch. michael anthony said they tried 5 times or more to get it together with roth but it failed every time. edwards fault? I dont think so. dave is difficult. and about eddie being drunk off his ass during the 2004 skid tour isnt that fucked up. seen'um in cleveland at the gund arena and he did fuck up a lot. but I think his frustration with sammy was showing big time. it's the only way he knew how to deal with the pressure of being onstage with a guy every night that he cant stand anymore and I can understand where he's coming from. I did'nt feel betrayed. it was great to see eddie again drunk or sober. real rockstars dont drink grape cool-aid and say golly geesh! they say hell yeah then stagger and fall over a monitor. being a real rockstar is not a fashion trend, it's a way of life. so if thats what your looking for, go buy a fred dorkst album.:D

Seen that tour in Columbus...and I was embarrased to be there, and for Ed. So were alot of others....
