    DLR And Slash

I just heard this really shitty parody of DLR and what if he joined VR, Auctually being pretty relistic I think DLR and Slash would get along fine. I mean think about it Slash was probably a huge CVH fan back in the day, I imagine either playing with Van halen or Aerosmith would be his dream. Anyone else think this could have worked out? BTW Billy Mira sucks ass.

Velvet Revolver would be much better with DLR than Scott Weiland(The band could ahve been so much better without that red-haired poof!)

I don't think Dave would suit VR.

He wouldn't be able to sing "Fall To Pieces" or "Headspace" or "You Got No Right" or "Do It For The Kids" (love that first line. "Went too fast I'm outta luck and I don't even give a fuck!") or just about anything on there...its not his style.

Although, Slash and DLR would work well together on a different project. Cos, lets face it, Slash is the world's nicest guy and would work well with everyone.

                Oh, yea, and

LEAVE WEILAND THE FUCK ALONE, NO NEED FOR MINDLESS INSULTS, HE'S DONE NOTHING WRONG.

I agree why does everyone hat Scott Weilend, I always kinda liked STP, I loved GN'R, and Thats what VR is a prefect combination Of Gn'R and STP. He fits Slash and the gang just fine in my mind, he acts just like 'em, think about it he drinks just like slash does. The are a combo of Aerosmith and The Ramones, I mean you can obviously hear it in their music. I hope they keep putting out albums because they'll blow away any thing axl's realease in my mind. Velvet Revolver the last true Rock And Roll band out there.

slash only drinks a couple o glases of wine before he goes onstage to take the edge off,so scott drinking as much as slash really isnt a great deal. There not the last true rock band out there because they dont have the attitude that made all the greats great.Guns n Roses did great music but they were all about the attitude, the have fun die young, dont give a fuck attitude.VR have no attitude

Unfortunately...Slash has only worked with one VH singer in the past, and that was...you guessed it...Sammy Hagar, doing guitar work, on his first solo albulm, sans van halen, properly titled "Marching To Mars"
The Roth Army needs a leader who demonstrates the three "A's",

                        Attitude, Awesomeness, America.

You're forgetting something...they've all been there, done it and got the T-shirt. Its not that they haven't got attitude, its that they have a different attitude to what GNR had, and its not the attitude some people were expecting. They are not 21 anymore, they are all middle-aged, and they are older and wiser.

GNR had no attitude by the time UYI came out. On that tour they were the only band that bookies placed bets on whether or not the singer will show up.

I have an interview that Axl gave at that time, and it has none of the attitude that you are describing. What you have is a very insecure man who complains at every available oppurtunity. He complains about his childhood, his hands, his feet, his throat and gives a handful of lame excuses as to why he was late onstage every night.

Where is the attitude in 'November Lame'?

Where is the attitude in 'Sweet Child O' Fuck Not This One Again'?

                          Where is Axl these days?

Where is Scott Weiland these days?

The sad part is that all of the classic rockers of the 80's, have no influence in todays music. The music scene wghich is all hip hop shit, has rubbed teh likes of GNR and VH off teh fucking scene. The kids of today have no clue how fucking ass kicking both of those bands were.
