the ads here are pretty funny..they are playing actual audio of Eddie talkin about how he originally met Sammy( car mechanic named claudio)
but every other sentence is Eddie actually saying "hey man, gimme a beer"....
"i met Sammy when my car went into the garage..hey man, gimme a beer"
i think theyre playin " best of both worlds" intro in the background

I believe they will play Dave era songs on this tour no matter what they say now. They used to play about 4 or 5 on previous tours, so what the hell would they play instead?

Oh really? The last I heard the "Van Hagar - Fuck The Fans Ticket Packages" were sold out. That was everyone at the links going apeshit over them. No fucking regular tickets are sold out. Check for yourself junior. They are still easily available in Vegas and that venue isn't the biggest either.

Heard the full-blown promo just now on KQ.

Sammy singing Ain't Talkin Bout Love and Jump. Yikes! Then guitar riffs only from RWTD. And Eruption. A lot of Van Hagar synths too, but I digress.

KQ and 93X are giving away tickets. Haven't heard anything on Mix 104 yet. VH seems to be getting their money's worth on the marketing side. This obviously has been in the works for quite awhile.

Ticketmaster is still running the AOL presale... I don't have AOL and there are a lot of other people that don't. I wouldn't say that they won't sell out until they go on sale to the general public.
