Any place I can get to hear his show??? Oh damn, it's times like this when I wish I lived somewhere else...<img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y214/screwthesisters/del2.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">
"So there, I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopkeeper and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes...Nasty business, really, but sure enough I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show..."Comment

I can't say I'm overwhelmed with great feelings about Dave doing the Radio Gig, since I'd rather be anticipating a fabulous 2006 Tour to begin with a New Years Eve Concert to start our year off in Celebration and Good Cheer, BUT, looking at the optimistic point of view.....we get to hear him each morning making us laugh as no one can and he will undoubtedly pick up alot of new "young" listeners who will become big fans that will be curious to come to DLR's concerts, if he still does what he does best.
Maybe Dave wanted this formal announcement to be on his birthday to mark a new adventure in his ever changing, very interesting journey through the World According to Dave.
I'm along for the ride - hopefully this is a pit-stop.......
WE? were on the west coast....Got beef with my comments? Blow me!Comment

I'm headed to Kuwait in a week, for another year in the middle east. Is it possible for the Roth Army site to archive the show? It was great when you guys did that for the Boston gigs, that way we all get to hear the show...just a thought.Comment

Happy Birthday to the Diamond One!!!!!!!!!! And congrats for taking over for the pervert who brags about how small his cock is. The VH sisters are to stupid to form a reunion so fuck em. Dave is a great talker and he will acclimate quickly to this new venture. I have an old audio interview of him before the US Festival show, he was hilarious.Comment
