ralph is one hell of a singer, i have never seen him in person, but i have checked out many videos and mp3's on the punks site. but i dont think he would do it. besides he sounds and kinda looks like dave,that would probly drive the sisters crazy!

I just saw the Atomic Punks at the Whisky-a-go-go in Hollywood on Saturday night and they ROCK!

For those of us who need our VH Fix, Ralph and the boys do the trick - at least in between waiting for the next DLR Concert.

But I, too, don't think that Ralph would do it........then again...he might be enticed by the opportunity to record at 5150 and drive a Maserati, rather than an Audi ??

haven't seen him in years but he was looking good then

I read where Ralph said he would do VH only if it was offered to DLR first and he turned it down

I don't think Ed would want a Roth fan in the band, which is why he doesn't want Roth. :D

This must be rather recent; he's not what I'd call "fat"... not quite yet!:D


But while searching through google, I realized Ralph (I haven't heard anything by Van Heineken yet, and I'd never seen their frontman yet either) is much of an impersonator. On each pic he looks like he thinks he is Dave. I don't dig it at all.
OK, this is a tribute band but, no matter how good they may be - and they seem to be, reading about reactions - the art of impersonation will always make me feel uneasy.
Ralph can do other stuff than CVH, the most exciting repertoire, all right; Diamond is the coolest model, all right; but impersonating somebody up to that degree, however skillful you have to prove to be, has something embarrassing IMO.

But I might be missing the point.

Ralph's a cool guy. Can't see that happening, though. But then, you never know what mountains of CA$H can accomplish....
