I agree 100%. But ONLY because Cherone's a CVH fan - he didn't want to do ANY Hagar stuff, and talked Eddie into doing tons of CVH stuff in 1998 - and yes, Ed sounded incredible - not one flaw. Ed finally insisted on Cherone doing 1 song per Hagarita album, and they did. Which, for me, was a great time to go grab a beer.

The 98 tour was great, as much as people rip on Cherone, he knew what the people wanted to hear.

FOr the pick, gotta go with the reunion. Since I was 6 when they broke up, I never got to see them. Even if none of them are what they were, I'd love to see them. Do the tour, new album, and empty the vaults, and Happy Trails, that's the way it should end.

The window of opportunity has passed. The sisters have fucked themselves and their few remaining fans for too long. Bad choices made, etc.

Dave is SO far beyond them now it's not even funny. He is the one who came out on the good end, if you ask me. In order for any kind of a reunion tour, Ed would have to enter Dave's special boot camp/rehab clinic! Whip his ass into shape JUST to make it halfway presentable.

No thanxs for a reunion now, it would be an embarrassment. Just give me the Oakland show on a DVD and I'm a happy camper.

It's a good thing I have my memories of the '84 Tour!:D

This is a though option... or maybe not. I'll take number 3, please. Dave getting a proper band to make a new album/tour and release a DVD. Why? 'Coz for one, I don't think a DLR/VH reunion will be that big of a deal anymore. That time has passed and the sisters dodn't seize the opportunity. And second, I've always been partial to Dave solo. I know I'm in a minority here, but I'm kind of a Dave sheep, as in everything he's done post-VH sounds more interesting to me than the majority of the six-pack. Shall I get in the Pen? :D
