Why is Dave not immortalized in Hollywood?

This might have been talked about earlier & I'm sorry if I'm repeating someones thread but why the hell doesn't Dave have a star on the Hollywood walk of fame or the rock walk outside Guitar Center??????
Van Hagar has at the rock walk (outside of GC) & even fucking loser assholes like Kenny G & David Hasselhoff has stars on Hollywood.
Does anybody know the criteria to get one? Is it record sales or veiwer ratings for crappy tv shows?
I mean it's a lame ass tourist attraction but still Dave deserves a goddamn star, right?
We should campaign for this ha ha
Maybe he'll get one after the radio show starts...

In order for a person to get a star on the Walk of Fame, he or she must agree to attend a presentation ceremony within five years of selection, and a $15,000 fee must be paid to the Trust for costs such as security at the star ceremony; a 2003 FOX News story noted that the fee is typically paid by sponsors such as movie studios and record companies, as part of the publicity for a release with which the honoree is involved. On other occasions, the fee is paid by a fan club or the nominating person or organization.

As of 2004, the total number of stars awarded is approximately 2,150.

OKAY...SO DT....DO YOU AND I WANT TO SPEAR HEAD THIS??? I'm totally game to do this and would love to figure out a targeted $$$ amount we can all at DLRARMY come up with and then contact DLR while he's doing his radio gig....let him in on our idea and see if he might make a small contribution to the cause. Many of these celebrities give some of their own $$$ to do this.
