I think I get you when you say that you enjoy Sammy cuz he knows how to have a good time and throw a party. What does Sammy do? Of what I've heard, he brings his tequila out, shows you how to make a Waborita, and drinks 'em on stage. Sounds like an infocommercial to me.

He's got his own line of booze, sunglasses, what else? Of course he cares about you -- he wants you to buy all his stuff to give him money. He's a good businessman. All good businessmen make oyu think that they actually care about you. Trust me

You say David is self-absorbed, but he still goes out and sings songs he knows people want to hear. You say that is living in the past? Is he to abandon music he helped to bring about? Music that his fans want to hear?

And you say that Dave is a huge egomaniac and a retard to let anything go well for him. I didn't hear Eddie sitting saying that David fucked up a reunion when they got together to jam a while back. If I remember correctly, he said the lawyers got into the mix and battled it out. Might not mean anything to you, but with what we've seen played out in public about the guys, I think that speaks volumes. Dave wasn't blamed for once.


Oh, and if you think VH was studio magic, you obviously haven't heard many bootlegs, Mr I-used-to-be-the-biggest-DLR-fan-ever!

I feel he is entertaining, but it has kinda digressed from a "Holy shit, Dave is fucking crazy" to "geez, I can't believe that THIS is David Lee Roth." I think he's a very smart man, and I enjoy listening to him speak. I once saw a clip of an interview on MTV where he compared himself to "Genghis Khan, Muhammad Ali, and the guy who invented those McDonald's hamburgers." That's just gold.

My main point is there is no problem with Van Hagar...I don't think their is, but I enjoy a very wide range of music. I can grant you that Van Halen and Van Hagar are very different, and I enjoy Van Halen MUSIC more, but I also think Hagar is very good, and they had quality songs. He also puts more into his live performances. Dave just danced around and wore himself down, so that by the middle of the show, Dave was done. And I think that's what I like....Sammy connects with fans, and has fun with them during shows. And all you'll get out of Dave is "hey man, I'm gonna fuck your girlfriend!" And it's the same today as it was 20 years ago, and I think it's sad that David Lee Roth hasn't been able to progress and mature.

Yeah, perhaps he should wear capri pants, sandals, and turn his concert into a goddamned 2 hour TEQUILA COMMERCIAL so he can be as cool as that Bush supporting piece of shit Sammy Hagar!!

What is the purpose of your visit here?
We here at the Army still get a lot more out of Dave, Van Halen, Daves interviews, shows, assless pants, his book and the visit to Sopranos. If you enjoy seeing Hagar, we're not stopping you. Why would you try to change us when we all know you can't? Stay out of our Jack if you prefer milk.
