eddie crying about his dumb hip to get sympathy was pathetic and dave was right telling him he was ruining the whole moment. dave is the leader of VH when he was in it and would not have been the same without him. he wrote the lyrics, directed the memorable videos and sang the classic songs. he was the drive and brains behind VH. eddie is not a leader and would have been lost without DLR. as talented as eddie was he is not a leader and why he let dave run the machine.

I will never knock Ed, Al and mike or their playing abilities and i won't even knock Sammy on his singing ability, but the chemistry is just not there like it was with Dave. And as far as Dave being able to sing again for VH, he could do it in a heartbeat. His voice is fine and his attitude and charisma is still unmatched. You say Sammy is the party, well i say that is a party that a very few want to go to. This summer tour will sell like a motherfucker and make alot of dough for the boys, but when they are ready to dump Sam and get back to making some real music and have a real sellout of a tour, that will only happen with Mr. Roth. One more thing, you can knock on the way Dave dresses or how his voice sucks or whatever, but this is a fact, Dave will always and still is the lead singer and frontman for VH, the rock star, the party and the baddest motherfucker to ever perform on stage. Sammy was and is once again just BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!!!

The reason why the mtv audiance rose to their feet when VH came out was not because it was Dave coming out with VH, it was because it was the origional band stepping on a stage for the first time in over a decade. Then in 2002 he calls Sammy and wants to tour with him, they do it, and dave acts like a prick for no reason. Wasnt it time to bury the hatchet? Did you see the VH-1 Special on it? Dave is a total prick the whole time. I just think he has had enough chances and really isnt the man for the job anymore. But there is nothing wrong with trying.
