Not Sammy fans and not Van Hagar fans.

I guess I am guilty for bashing Sammy and Van Hagar but if they (Sam and Van Hagar fans) weren't here I wouldn't do what I do. I guess I am getting tired of these Sammy fans and Van Hagar fans being here.

I do not go to any Sammy or Van Hagar fans website to bash Sam or Van Hagar.

I wouldn't have posted a word of negativity if not for YOUR totally unnecessary and biased bashing of Sammy Hagar. I signed up to post here specifically because of that. There are David Lee Roth fans who are also Sammy Hagar fans. I enjoy them both, but I don't appreciate your comments toward a man who is enjoying his life and is having a ball. He loves the fans and the music, and he never did anything to you. HE didn't knock David Lee Roth out of Van Halen, so I don't see why you have all these problems with him.

Bash Eddie Van Halen for this, I don't care...but Sammy doesn't deserve it. I at least appreciate the fact that you're relatively well spoken and coherent in your statements.

Do you even know the history of the Van Halen, Van Hagar, Sammy and Dave mudslinging?

Sammy bashed Dave most out of everyone involved. Sam just keeps on going and going and going with the bashing. He met Dave in 2002 for the first time. That is 17 years of bashing before he ever met Dave in person. It tells you what type of character the man has. Dave was a pure gentleman until the bashing got out of control.

It took 2 years before Dave would do any bashing after the 1985 breakup. The first time Dave set the record straight was in the August 1987 Playboy Magazine (sorry to all the Dave fans that I have to keep on repeating this interview). Dave went off on Van Hagar because of all the bashing they did.

It was mostly Sammy Hagar doing the bashing. Dave says this in his book too that most of the bashing came from Sammy and his management.

Dave is a gentlemen. He could have gone off on Van Hagar and Sammy in his book but he didnt.

Are you a fan, have you been following the events ?? As recently as late last year, your wonderful Sammy quoted in several interviews, "There is only one way I would return to Van Halen, and that is if both Dave and Sam are back in, Its the only fair way for the fans."

At this point I actually started to forgive this fucker.

I'm an old VH/DLR era fan who is on this site because of that reason maybe if there wasn't a " lame " commentary about the Van Halen/Sammy Hagar reunion tour on this DLR Army website then maybe nobody would mention it except on so called Van Hagar websites while all this whining about Sammy in the defense of Dave is really ridiculous because both of them are great eras of VH.

It is normal to find people who like both in my experience; I have met many Sammy fans who dome to be Diamond Dave fans by way of Van Hagar and being previously unaware of Van Hagar's prior history with Roth.

It is NOT normal to experience a fan who/s into both singers by way of David Lee Roth.. that just doesn't happen.I never met anyone like that, a person who doesn't have any preference for either Van Halen or Van Hagar really.

Same people who probably enjoy Bette Midler and Barry Manilow - either way you get some really great piano and cool, thought provoking show tunes.. ::dodges_tomahtoes::
