The funny thing is that you all think DLR is a success without the band. He is a complet failure without them, and is referenced as one in the mainstream. Van Halen went on to succeed with out him and are continuing with Sammy. How can you argue that?

what exactly would you call 3 platinum albums, 1 platinum video collection, 1 gold album and 2 highly successful tours?



i could argue that a band who was one of the biggest of all time, coming off of a record that sold 5 million copies it's 1st year and a highly successful tour that changed lead singers and subsequently sold fewer albums each time, despite trading on the same band name is a failure.
