Sammy Said a number of times he hated Dave. I remember a interview on VH1, close to the end of the Dave and Sammy tour, Sammy stated " He Did not like Dave", as Mike sat right beside him laughing like a idiot!!!!!!

Also during the MTV videos awards in 2002, when Sammy and Dave went on stage, Sammy tried to make a fool out of Dave.

There is no secret Dave doesn't like Sammy either, at lest he is more respectful about it and not try to make a ass of him self like sammy does.

I agree with Terry saying "I'm glad Roth left". I think Ed had tired of the Classic VH musical style, and wanted to cross over to reach a larger audience. Well he reached a LARGER audience alright, namely 300 LB., ballad loving K-Mart cashiers, pussy whipped husbands, who think striped socks and a fag bag make him edgy, and the gay community. Meanwhile the classic VH legacy is absolutely untouchable. No one will remember Sammy Hagar in 50 years. THose Dave songs will still be all over the radio.

Sammy toured Australia not that long after his breakup with Van Halen. You have never heard one person bitch more about Van Halen, and Dave in your entire life. Every media interview (TV/Radio/Print)
was a full on attack on anything Van Halen and Dave.

I wished I have videotaped it all the way back then, we would have a field day with it.
