          No, I don't "dig"...

I wouldn't want five albums that would be trying to compete with CVH...

One would have sufficed... and still would...

Dave with some new blood -old or young- in the studio on the road .

How can you have new old blood ??

I feel that's more feasable than Ed picking up anything that weighs 8pds and He ain't heavy enough to stand on stage w Dave anymore.

          What is 8pds ??

Roth is the one for the last 20 years who has kept the---- VH Musical---- legasy alive not the owner of the name and his hack band....

          I want a legasy...

An Eat Em and Smile reunion is even less unlikely than the Van Halen reunion.
Steve Vai is doing his OWN thing and seems happy with it. No way will he want to rejoin the Roth circus.

I want some competition with the Classic Book. I have, after 25+ years....
I actually heard RWTD and thought if i hear this again I'll shoot myself. So i started up MWM and you know what, same thought..?
Where's something to continue the legacy where is what ---I---WANT---Something to show the contribution this band could have made to the world history of Music...........emptyness..... void.......... 0.

Dave on his own- DAVES- Book is far more impressive than any combination of all of the CVH book...and the Van Hagar and Eds trips
off w other gigs and Hagars whole book and Anthonys trips with Hagar.

Daves music defined the times and changed the times and is todate
far better than any achievement Ed or VH has put forth.Dave is CVH.

it aint that Ed can't have Dave back

I figure a gitar weighs about eight pounds(I work in a granite rock breaking quarry I just stand all day swinging a eight pound sledge
breaking rocks into dust thinkin a gitar can't weigh more than this and it has a strap to bear the weight, so it must be Ed, and Ed can't hold one, and is also not a heavy enough MAN to share the stage with Roth.

So i say If Dave wanted to put a band together write some tunes
I would be a happy Rock breaking sledge swinging happy man.

                  Sure it'll fly...

Just prop Eddie Van Halen up against a wall of amps, tie him up in a straitjacket, stick a Marlboro in his mouth, and let Brian Young play the guitar parts.

In 2008, it'll be 30 years since VHI

If anything happens, I'd be expecting it then.....

                        I am down w/ that.

Eds been tappin out code for thirty years and hasn't moved forward.

Do you think if CVH got together Roth would have any say.? Fuk No.
It would sound just like every other tune Ed been repeating for thirty
                        years .

Ed plays guitar -he the guitar -in the band. Roth can write, sing ,arrange, confrone and configure the stlye, smoke and the etherial esoteric that is so needed ina tune. Ed has no vision.

But Ed won't let the movement sing the song -ed want- the song to sound like Ed.Just ed the guitar player .and it suks

I don't know what 'confrone' means, but I bet Roth can do it better than anybody.

I'd even go as far as betting that the happy-go-lucky, all-smiles, bushy-haired, boy-next-door guitar hero known as Eddie Van Halen (circa 1978-79) WAS David Lee Roth's creation.

Weekend at Bernie's VH style. And as for predicting 2008 as the time to unleash, that can't happen because I have Ed in my 2007 death pool.

With the right promotion it would be huge!

Look at the Motley Crue tour....

The Van Hagar tour was fuck up, becuase it was badly managed, (as well as it being Van Hagar)

Funniest post I've read on here in some time! LMAO!

Seriously, I don't want this reunion to happen now. Eddie can't pull it off anymore; no way he's ever gonna clean up before he dies. Did you hear how fucking atrocious he was on the 2004 tour?

1996 was their time. Dave would probably be president by now if that thing had gone off.

Just what the fuck is/was the Van Halen brothers' system malfunction?
