BTW, Bill Wyman had INCREDIBLY bitter feeligns towards Jagger and Richards for the way they neglected to credit his contributions. How significant were they? He onyl wrote the riff to Jumping Jack Flash and the bass line - which is the backbone of the song - to Miss You.

I agree. I think Ed's mostly driven by the burning desire to tie up everything Van Halen that isn't already nailed down (remember back in, what...2002ish...when EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that wasn't already bought became property of EVH Inc. or whatever the hell it was? I do...).

Granted, Mike's basically been a hired gun for years, but snapping this on him out of the blue is a bit on the poor behavior side of things.

Who's actually surprised by it, though, is another matter entirely...
