Well, you told him! Truth be told, I like both sites and whenever one is down, I miss it, but I'm grateful for the other being available for us. Many like to have a 'choose or else' stance about DDLR and the Army, but it shouldn't be that way. We all are ROTHAHOLICS...what's the big fuckin' deal? They both celebrate ROTH and that's what it's all about, gosh DAMN IT!

This has now been aggravated because Brian has taken issue with a post which we can't even fucking find where he says he was criticised unfairly for doing something that was actually done by Dave's previous guitarist Bart Walsh.

Firstly what the fuck are we meant to do delete posts that are bullshit?

Secondly Brian doesn't tell us what post it is or tell us how to respond to it. If you can find this post win a prize, I'll send you a personalised pick from Brian.

So Dave is now telling Brian not to go to our website any more.

Whatever. Dave's the expert that can't even work a fucking browser...

I get the impression that Sarge is very bored with this shit and fed up and we are too. Roth and his management can't even get their fucking act together enough to list their gigs on their official site.

Instead we have people going to Toshi's site trying to work out from the Japanese when the gigs are and then post them. Dave's manager Matt Scienco wanted to shut us down a couple of years back for having bootleg downloads until the band told him to stop being so fucking stupid.

This is the crap we have to deal with on a weekly basis and that's why we're getting sick of this shit.

Sarge and in particular Von were the most insanely hardcore CVH/Roth fans you could ever imagine and even they are sick of dealing with these people.

I could get the DDLR site back up in 30 seconds but at the moment I'm undecided....

The thing with Brian is really a minor issue. He did get pissed about some stuff that's been posted. And Dave made a general comment to Brian after the Muskegon show just telling him not to read the stuff posted on the internet. Not just the stuff on DDLR, but stuff on the internet in general. Any famous person will tell you, this kind of stuff will drive them crazy if they let it. Dave just avoids it altogether. That's how he deals with it.

We have been contemplating letting the site go for quite some time. It just seems crazy to have two places dedicated to one guy, that doesn't care about either of us.

And I'll be frank. I don't believe Dave and VH are going to reunite. In fact, I hope they don't. I've seen them in their glory. At this point, I'd rather have the live shows on DVD. The official ones. I think it would be a better show sitting in my living room. As far as Dave solo goes. I don't give a fuck about it. I didn't care much for the EEAS Band stuff, and the rest of it is mediocre at best. Yes, it's better than most of the other garbage out there, especially the stuff out there today. But it's not CVH either. And never will be. Especially since he won't even go in and record and album of originals anymore. And the setlist......do I even need to go there?

And if DDLR doesn't come back, is it really that big of a deal? Like Poji says, Sarge has most of the downloads. What he doesn't have, he can get. From us, or anyone else.
