This reminds me of a conversation I had with Von when DDLR was quite new and there was no Army at that point.

I asked him if we should have a Feedback to Webmasters forum and he answered 'Why the fuck should we have a place for a bunch of whining pricks to complain all day. Fuck them.'

A.) I also post at DDLR once in a while. So I guess I am there afterall...

B.) "No, Mezro's the best?" LOL I've taken shots at Mez myself. I just try not to resurrect threads so I can pile on the guy when he's not really here to defend himself. Stuff like that would make me feel like, well, sort of a bitter little pussy-bitch. One thing I have never understood out of all of this bullshit is the people who think they're big stuff in the "VH Online Community." I mean, this is the fucking internet; it's not like it's real life. I know some folks here are friends in real life and that's cool. I've met a handful of folks over the years and would probably hang out with some of them if they were local. But half of this shit is just people fuckin' around with too much time on their hands. Aliases and all that shit. Maybe that's why I settled down at DDLR, even though I started out over here on the earlier version. It seemed like there was less of that shit over there (maybe I'm wrong, just my perception). That shit just never appealed to me.

Now, I'm not talking about the cool guys like Von, Sarge, Sesh, Pojo, Brett, etc who are doing the equivalent of inviting us over to their house every Sunday for the NFL Sunday Ticket (sorry, Sesh, that's American football). They pay the DirecTV bill and fill the fridge with beer magically during the week. These are the guys who deserve our respect.

I've just enjoyed having a place or two to get into some interesting conversations about music, sports, and other good shit with a group of folks that I might have hung out with in college. We all try to be amateur comedians and debaters and that's cool. Hope it continues. Shit, I hope DLR, Ltd gives it reason to thrive. I totally get Dave's attitude towards this sort of thing. He seems like the type who needs to insulate himself from all the bullshit. But he can certainly use others to enable this sort of thing, to his own benefit.

He probably needs to get rid of Sencio and hire Pojo to be his manager. No, even better, hitch.
