I think with the right promotion, it'd happen over here. Eddie is still regarded as a legend, Van Halen/Hagar didn't tour here that much so people would probably come out and see it.

And Roth always comes top five in all Frontman polls in the music mags over here, so having him back would be the clincher I think.

There's no way they'd sell out every venue (nor did the Crue, or many bands at the moment actually, Iron Maiden are the only ones who've managed it this year I think) but they would certainly do good business.

But, this is only conjecture of course!

I lived out in that neck of the woods for quite awhile and I never could understand the Reno crowds either. Most of the big name bands seem to pass on playing there. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that's it's a small big city and a college atmosphere. I saw Ozzy there yrs. ago and he did his damndest to get that crowd going, strangely, it never took off.

Your right about the Nugget being too far off out in the boonies and an old farts place. I have stayed there myself but damn. It's nice enough but not suited for a rocker like Dave. The biker bar was a good suggestion.

actually you're pretty far from the truth on that one. Avg house goes 300,000 don't know many trailers that are that expensive lol. The Crue sold out here, Def Leppard/Journey sold out here, GNR is here in Jan. We get a lot of underground shows. The Reno/Sparks market is all about timing and location.
