All 3 singers will probably show for the induction but it will be Dave getting the most attention and having the best speech out of them all.
Ed will probably be as comfortable as he was during the '96 MTV awards show.....wooden and robot-like.

I believe the sad truth is that Sam will be inducted.

What I also believe - you take away the post-1984 catalog and you still have a HOF band; you take away the pre-5150 catalog and you do not.

Since Red Worm was in the band for about 10 yrs , he will very likely be at the ceremony.
The Eagles had former members with them onstage as they accepted their award and everyone said a liitle bit.
That's likely how it will go down here- Cherona will probably be in the background and will say little, maybe nothing at all.
Dave and Spam will both have some kind of speech offering, but Dave will obviously be the loudest and most interesting.
The Van Halen bros will act like the owners of the group as usual.
should be interesting kiddies....get those recordable devices out and ready.

Dave, Ed, Mike and Al are really the only Van Halen that should be inducted, however, in all realism, Sammy will probably go in as well. Thinking that we won't go in with them is nice, but probably little more than a daydream.

Does anyone know if you can purchase general public seating at the Waldorf Astoria for this event? I know that the artists themselves have to spend some big $$$ for tables for their guests, but just wondering if the whole event is strictly invitation only ??
