First let me ask, have you seen the thread? Cause if you can't see how it DIRECTLY relates to the whole "Dave vs Sam, Van Halen/Van Hagar saga", I simply would not know what to say. I would be rendered speechless.

Yeah, I've been there for awhile but, make no mistake, I'm a Dave era fan. I've pretty much been "fightin the good fight" the whole time I was there. Don't know if you noticed but I pretty much stopped posting there since Fat ass came back into the fold (what with all the brand spanking new sheep joining and all).

I have always tried to be cool to everyone but never had a problem with some "verbal sparring" when it was called for. Now is no exception. I'm not understanding you because I don't see how I'm being any different.

When fat ass rejoined, a line was drawn in the sand. I simply chose a side....and this is it.

I mean honestly, the "Sam vs Dave" thing is old as dirt

Lead singers (the biggest prima donnas on the planet) leave bands all the time, maybe I'd like AIC with a different singer, I don't know, I guess I have to hear it. You got plenty of Dave-era fans on this web site who love AC/DC, seems they have no problem replacing singers. Are they hypocrites too?

Brett, I'm STILL a decent guy and I have never had a problem with you either.

As far as I know, I'm not angry at all (had a few beers...far from drunk and angry though). I honestly don't know why you guys think I'm acting.....different. I have NEVER pulled any punches and I have always let everyone know where I stand on the whole Sam/Dave thing.

I hear ya, I even posed the question that I wondered who they would get to replace Layne. I'd rather not see him replaced either, but like you said, might be good tunes, never know.

Replace him and call the band something else.

Needless to say, I'm a big AIC fan also.
