Thanks for putting that up, DLNatra. I'm really enjoying watching it, despite Sammy's presence in it. As long as I've been a VH fan, I've never seen a rockumentary of VH. I remember when Unleashed came out but I refused to buy it because I was NOT a fan of Van Hagar. For me, watching this has really put into perspective the true behind-the-scenes dynamic amongst the original band members and it's complete dysfunction. The bands slagging of Dave is really shocking and childish. Ed and Al are a couple of bitter old hags, and Sam is a mouthy sonofabitch who needs a piece of humble pie shoved down his throat.
I'm going to finish watching the rest of it...

Dave did one in 1988, on a show called Rockumentary, that concentrated mostly on interviews done while he was doing the Skyscraper tour. Unlike Van Halens Unleashed, on this one Roth spent virtually no time discussing his former bandmates, except for one barb he made when asked about making the Just Like Paradise video rock climbing scenes. He said something along the lines of "Yeah, I have had some close calls rock climbing...not as close as some of my calls down at Warner Brothers on Burbank," then he gave one of those patented Roth laughs...
