    A Good Comprosmise

I was thinking that maybe this scenario could work. Schedule the tour dates as planned. Play the shows in Vegas in late April. Film the Vegas shows in high def/ 5.1 srs. Include in the setlist some NEW songs with Dave. Either brand new or something from the past we haven't heard. Present the world premiere of the concert on High Def Net, HBO, MTV, or Pay Per View. Then release the show on DVD/CD. This would give us a live show and new music at the same time without going into the studio for an entire new album. This would be kinda like what Page/Plant did in 94 with No Quarter. Would everyone be satisfied with this scenario?

And Oakland, and Montreal. If they played these supposed dates in Vegas, which seem early. That would give them time to get the DVD/CD out to the public before they hit the road this summer.

I have a feeling we're gonna get some footage of this tour........

Though...I still doubt that EVH & SHEMP are gonna break open the vault.........

Only if Lucy Pinder comes to my house and gives me head in the process.

If Lucy will agree to this, then yes, I will be satsified with your scenario.

Is Ed going to take your advice? Ed is going to do whatever the fuck he wants regardless of what any of us want him to do. Whoever doesn't go see a show from this tour will regret it. I bet alot of people here went to see VH with Spammy and they are bitching because Dave is back but Ringo Anthony has been fired for forming a new band.

                  Not this guy
However, know this. Anything new released that does not highlight the Glory Years 78 to-85, unseen footage or tuneage, not good enough.
                  New footage,2007, no thanks
Let's see the rest of the 79 footage, 80 footage, ah fuck it just gime a concert for every year from 78 to 84 and we can call it a career!

You shouldn't be offended, considering you're as much of a proven Hagar fanboy as you are.

I went to see Eddie, Mike and Alex.

                      What's your excuse?

The last time I saw Van Halen was in 1981.

Actually 1981 was the only time I have seen Van Halen.

Considering all your verified pro-Hagar/anti-Roth rants, I seriously doubt that. But, no matter; your "credibility" around here resides in the bottom of the toilet, so go on with your bad self...

Thats fine but I know I saw them. Cobo Arena Detroit,Mi July 5,1981. They had all these red white and blue ribbons hanging from the lighting rig from the 4th of July show the night before.
