He has every right to be pissed solely based on what happened in 2004. It sucks that MA won't be there. No matter how good it is, it still won't be complete. But alas, he is gone and all of our complaining ain't gonna bring him back. I just hope that he is able to keep playing bass and stays out there.

IF (and it's a big IF) Wolfie can cut the mustard, it might turn out better than the reunion we wanted. Dave and the Van Halens. The new pic looks GREAT.

One thing's for sure, we'll miss Mike's backround vocals. It was always magic when he sang with Roth.

"Fools" will NOT sound the same. I think we'll really tell the difference when Mike's not around............

I'll miss MA for completion...to have the original CVH. But he wants to spend his time suckin at the Gaygar teete then let him jam love walks in suckin on a bottle of hot sauce and gently rubbin Gaygars nuts, seems he made his bed. Speaking of bed the Van Gaygar nightmare is fianlly put to bed........We didn't get CVH but one look at that pic shows we should be getting something good. It may be time for the 2nd cheer....lets look foreward to the 3rd.

No disrespect intended, but I cant see how anyone thinks this could possibly be good. From what I understand about the last tour, Ed could hardly play some nights. I can't imagine he's any better now. On the other hand I cant imagine he'd embarrass his kid and I cant imagine Alex would allow himself to be embarrassed. But after all these years of negativity and backbiting, I just can't imagine this will end well. Also, why does everyone hate MA so much. So the guy is friends with Hagar. Hagar kept that group going after Dave left, and while I KNOW they were much better with Dave, they had a lot of success with Hagar. So what if MA plays with Hagar? He's a musician, and he got tired of waiting around for Ed to get it together.

I don't get why Michael Anthony gets such a shit kicking around here. The guy always works his ass off on stage and is part of the Classic Van Halen Sound.

Bass player can go and blow spammy all he wants. This is what did it gor me though, bass player interview 1996

Mike: Oh no... I told them I didn't want to work with Dave and I wouldn't wanna tour with him. But I'm in Van Halen and Eddie and Alex are my brothers. And if they wanted to do it I would do it, too.... It was kind of hard at first because musically we're pretty much evolved a lot more than Dave did.

Of course I am SOOOOOO excited about the reunion!!!!!!!!! I have seen Van Halen with and without Dave.I got to say that both shows were FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! However as far as giving Mike the boot for this tour seems just so wrong,as I recall when I seen them play the last time Eddie brought Wolfie on stage also to play a bit,hell do that again!! or does Eddie feel he has toaght him well enough?
I guess time will tell.......
