If there's any truth to what Andrew is saying over at Links, then the "problems" are internal, but Dave isn't the issue. Which means its the battle of the Lying Dutchmen.

So what could Alex and Ed be fighting about? Only two possibilities come to mind.....

1) Alex doesn't think Pornochick is up to the job required to publicize a tour like this. Certainly true enough and today's lack of response from Howdy Doody Mountain proves it.

2) Alex realizes the Wolfie thing wasn't really a good idea. Whether he would be holding out for Mike or Billy Sheehan is the next question. Probably depends on that whole "funeral" question.....

So how long would it take Big Brother to remove Little Brother's head from his ass regarding either issue?

Meanwhile, Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang Van Halen's publicist — who announced the tour February 2 — said reports of a cancellation should be considered rumors until an official statement is released.

Well, she didn't deny the reports. It's over. No promoter is going to want to go anywhere near this band after this. Plus, if they fucked up the plans to play at venues this summer they will have to wait until next summer when Wolfgang has summer break again. It must be one hell of a mess for them to pull out within days of tickets going on sale and the Rolling Stone issue hitting the stands.
