It was a good decision by Dave not to show up. He was going to show but the assholes wanted him to play the songs they wanted. WTF. Isn't this induction for VAN HALEN and Dave was the first lead singer of the group. They should've let him select the songs and bring his band. This was a no-win situation for Dave no matter what he did. If he had shown up and gave a speech and then left afterwards, everybody would be giving him shit for leaving and not staying to sing with VR.

Why? Hes had no qualms SELLING tickets to shows with him fronting a VAN HALEN COVER BAND for the last five years at every casino and state fair in the nation! And they played ATBL every night! Total cowardly bullshit.
