I play music for a living and this is pleasurable side project, but I get the feeling I couldn't have a thread about actual music here without a buncha hosers like you who used to scream in my ear @ VH concerts . Then you went home and cried masturbating alone in the dark .

Perhaps, you could make it a REAL "music for a living" project, if you went around pimping it, rather than your "side project" garbage.

1. If you were a Van Halen fan, you would know by now that you can't be in two bands.

Again, write your own music. Play your own songs. Share those.

Actually dude, as someone who was in several bands before I grew up, {and started impersonating urologists on Van Halen sites} And I'm not bagging on you for this really. You need to play more weekends to make a living doing this stuff. Is there a big Country/Rockabilly scene in New York that I'm unaware of ? Why Brooklyn ?
Isn't there a better place to make money as a country musician?

I disagree. If David were to do a solo album again, I honestly think that a return to the ALAE sound would be a step in a better direction. Dave's spread himself out into a bunch of extremely varied fields since '91. He's had his fun, but if he's to do anything solo at this point, it oughta kick some ass.
