You people are so negative... The original final dress rehersal was only scheduled to last for approximately 30 minutes. The boys were so pumped, so full of energy and enthusiasm and so f-cking happy to be back on stage they had to just play and play. And you say no energy.

I would like to insert all my positive comments here about how maybe the reason the rehersal was only scheduled to last for 30 minutes is because that is all of the tour Spam will actually be playing-and they are still saving that surprise. But reality is sinking in. I am starting to believe it may not happen. And I am kind of with Bill in that anymore, I don't think I want it to. Run Dave, Run.

I bow to your greater experience... but I have heard far worse off days of Ed's playing not to mention Dave unable to even stand up let alone slur audibly on the VH II tour in 79. Point is nothin is perfect but it's nice hear Ed playing Unchained.

Ya know, I would love to see Eddie play again also. The guy was one of the greatest ever that I have followed for 27 years. Hell, I have 3 pairs of excellent "Eddie side" stage front comped tickets for different A+ venues of this Van Spammy Tour. I'd rather flush them down the crapper than waste my or my friends/groups time on seeing these hacks and Eddie so f--ked up. Never been much on funerals I guess!

Hell that is probably a genetic thing anyway. The smoking...I DO understand how hard it is to quit. I did it but it was hell. His alcohol use....I'm sure it is worse than smoking when you try to stop it. Plus, as many people as I have seen come in here talking about drinking and partying, etc., it is kind of hippocritical, in my opinion, to knock a guy for doing the same shit as some of you. In fact, I can remember a time when people would say, "Ed needs to start drinking again." I really believe that if he was touring with Dave, then not a goddamn word would be said about it, except by a few. Speaking of Dave, why not scream bloody murder when he's drinking Jack...Dave smokes too...sat 2 feet from him at a club and he had a cigarette. The thing is, who are we to say anything about that kind of shit.

I would hate to see any of these guys die, but it isn't for us to approve or disapprove. If you get right down to it, all we can do is either buy the albums and concert tickets or not buy them.

Now, here's what I will say about Ed. Ed get your fucking Samurai Jack hair wearing ass in gear, and get rid of Sammy. Call Dave, and pray to God he will help you write some decent fucking music instead of that horseshit you have just released with Shammy. Your tone fucking sucks now too....go in your closet and get that fuckin' Plexi and Variac out, and I have a Kramer you can borrow if need be.
