Yesterday the buzz on the radio, TV and the net was all about DAVE.

Yup. DAVE back in VAN HALEN.

Most TV snippets about the tour didn't even mention Mike's absence.

NOBODY FUCKING CARES ABOUT BASS PLAYER except for some VH internet NERDS who spend way to much fucking time posting on boards like this.

And then there are the posters who act as though they've already seen the current lineup play -- like they've already fucking heard it all.

FUCK YOU. You haven't heard anything yet.

Judging from Dave's enthusiasim yesterday, I'm confident it will kick ass.

        VV out.

        Agreed, agreed and agreed.

It really makes me wonder what the fuck is going on here lately.

I know this has been said many times before, but this is a GODDAMNED ROTH WEBSITE!

I could understand all the diaper wetting if this was Mullet's board, but it's not.

Get the fuck over it and support ROTH or step the fuck down.

To me, this pic says it all!!

This is what I've wanted to see. I real, genuine smile on Dave's face:

I would like to see Micheal Anthony here with the band too but it's not gonna stop me from going. I've never seen Diamond Dave with Ed on stage playing at the same time so this is very exciting for me! I mean think about it; this is one of the best frontman in the history of rock with one of the greatest guitar players of all time and you can't get much better than that! The only thing that I am a little worried about is MA's background vocals which is a BIG part of Classic Van Halen and can Wolfie pull it off?! I don't know but I sure hope so! I mean, is he going to able to sing background on a song like "Me Wise Magic?" If they even play it, because I really dig that song. Anyway, just my two cents...regardless I am there to see my favorite rock and roll band jam! DIAMOND DAVE IS BACK!!!! ;0)

While I agree that the loss of Mike is not so earth-shattering, I do have to say that the artwork on the new website stands as a testimonial to how vindictive and petty Edward is.

Agreed that Mike is a hot-sauce hawking whore whose allegiances waffle like an IHOP during a Sunday breakfast rush.

But keep in mind....if Photoshop was around in 1985, it would have been Dave's picture that was gone and replaced with Sammy's.

It's not just "just a small gif on a website" promoting the new gig. It's fucking cover artwork from some of the classic six pack!

To make changes to the six pack cover art just cheapens the CVH legacy even more. Wasn't there already enough tarnish on it with the whole Dave/Sammy/Gary "lead singer du jour" bullshit without Ed having to pull another cheapshot move at someone like Michael Anthony, who...judging by the vast majority of opinions on this board...was never an important ingredient anyway?

That said....I'm pumped for this tour. If Dave is confident in Wolfie, then I'm confident in Wolfie.

Dave was totally shimmering on stage at that press conference...and it was from more than just that jacket. :D

                  Can't wait until October 1...

Why does everyone blame Ed only for the website? I'd bet Al had just as much to do with it. He's way more involved in how the band is presented.

Because Ed is fucking the PR machine that is likely pulling the strings of the puppet webmaster.

If you think that Janie "Yoko" Liszewksi doesn't have her hand in that website, then you're kidding yourself.

Dave and Eddie always used to go by this motto:

"If it sounds good, it is good."

As far as the album cover change on the site --- its only a website -- a page that is currently being used to sell the tour.

I say wait until the full site is up next month.

Well, Mike and Sammy did their best to up stage this tour by announcing in advance, that the other half, would be touring this fall. LOL. Of course they don`t want any ex members photographs, on their web site period. It`s a new begginnning!

                              Ummmm.....what?

In order for that statement to make any sense, then Dave, Al, or Ed would have had to be members of "The Other Half" at some point in time.

113 is obviously not your I.Q.
