Another excuse not for me to go.Ed has that God awful sound he used when playing with Cherone and he still sounds sloppy so to whoever is going enjoy.

Was it Van Halen? hmm, besides there's no vid, no singing, there's no date to it, when was it recorded? the guitar playing is a bit lacking, the fills on RWTD doesn't sound like Ed's.

I won't comment on the bass playing, until I see Wolfie playing in front of my eyes

I actually liked Ed's tone on the "3" tour... Cherone is a joke but one good thing about the tour was Ed's tone, it had a harder edge to it! The clip does sound real to me, and yes, it is from his website... listen to the drums, it does sounds like Al. If this is what the "NEW" Van Halen is going to sound like... this is going to be one hell of a tour!!

Ed has that squishy compressed Peavey distortion as on the VHIII tour...

Ed actually had "tone" again at the 2007 NAMM show, and his playing was beginning to show some improvement...

I really hope this was recorded pre-rehab. I wouldn't call this "better than ever". It's not very good at all. Ed would not pass the audition of a VH cover band. Wolf and Alex sound OK.
