I'm not sure if this is a repeat thread or not. If so just delete it. Anyone out there read the new Van Halen book "Everybody Wants Some, The Van Halen Saga" I assume it's new to the shelfs because they go as far as the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame this year. I'm about half way through, pretty interesting. Curious what anyone who has read the book thinks.

. im excited...especially since i could never find Van Halen 101 anywhere in toronto... oh well, hope its gona be a good read

I think I'll have to buy it in English, as "Crazy from the heat". I won't complain, except for fucking French publishers's worthlessness - Dave's book was never translated into French, and I'd bet "Everybody wants some" won't be either.
Sometimes I feel like doing it myself.

I have to pick the book up as well, I've heard there is also another VH book coming out in November.
I like to see a "Crazy From the Heat 2" come out with Dave talking about events in his life that happend, since the first book got published, but we all know how busy Dave is these days.:D

I finished it a few days ago. Great book. It covers the RRHOF so it is pretty much right up to date. Not that I'm a Van Halen historian like a lot on this site but there is a shit load of stuff that I didn't know about the band. A real good read for any VH fan.SUPPORT THE BIG RED MACHINE
