I hear Gary Cherone is going to tour coffee houses this summer. He's going to be playing a collection of 16th century Gregorian Chants, while accompanied by Zamfir (Master of the Pan Flute).
If I wanna see a Van Halen show, I'll go see Gary and Zamfir (Master of the Pan Flute). That's more Van Halen than this so-called VH tour.Workers of the World UNITE!Comment

This is a huge tour when it happens.People like myself havent seen them since 84 and ill believe it when i see it.If they put out a new album it is the perfect time.The implosion factor is high but i think it will be a celebration.That is pretty fucking funny though if those rubes are comparing this tour to the 2004 debacle.im 40 and ill gladly spend 150.0 beans to go see VHwith roth.Shit half of the Ramapo police department has already put in for a day off."Avant Garde is French for bullshit.”Comment

Links are just plain odd to me. It's a mindset that I suppose I can understand in a limited way, but not one I share...
Also odd in that my perception of linkers on the whole is that at heart they're a bunch of Eddie Grunts, so it makes it difficult to understand why they'd even care WHO was singing in the end. I could be wrong, I suppose, and perhaps the majority of people there really like the combination of Sam Hagar and Ed Van Halen; maybe they are a bunch of people who didn't like the band until Hagar joined combined with younger fans who came of age when Van Hagar was all that was available. Bah, not something I really CARE to undertand, in many ways.
I seriously doubt Van Halen 2007 is going to be playing to as many (and probably not ANY) half-empty halls as Van Hagar 2004 did, though (am presuming both tours are playing to pretty much the same size venues).
Shit, I'm not exactly at the forefront of people endorsing the whole deal this year on this site, but common fucking sense would tell just about anyone with half a brain that this year the shows are gonna sell well. Bottom line on that is because Dave is back with the band. End of story.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
