And BTW, any of you that can actually defend these totally classless moves by Ed and Al are just sick...

i think it's called .."That's Life"...... :D"Hear that O.F.? If old school Army gals with solid track records of contribution choose to bless us with their tits, ass, vagina, or just sexy eye shots, leave them be (at least until I've had a chance to rub one out)..."
That is all.

Motherfuckers!
And War, you seriously think Anthony would rather play with that asshole over the band he made it with?
You people are deranged!
Yeah, at this point, I think he'd rather play with Hagar than with Van Halen. No shit.Comment

You're only good at posting crybaby stories and pics of Clay Aiken.

There's one difference about Ed treating Mike and Dave over the years. Even though Ed has taken shots at Dave over the years and threw him under the bus, he's also let quite a few compliments slip as well, such as 'I still love Dave' a few years back. I don't ever remember him saying such things about Anthony, which leads me to believe there's alot of water under the bridge.Comment

But the current ones, Ed and Al, get their assholes tongued by the very same people that were tossing shit at them for the past three years?
Fucking pu-leeeeeze...
Hey Nick, if you don't support Roth and the tour that he obviously wants big time, why are you even here? I mean---no disrespect intended but this is still the ROTH Army? Why waste your time with all the negative shit?
So what---You wait until after the tour and maybe a couple of albums later---then they split up again, or someone dies. At that point you'll support Roth and his projects again? Or not? WTF?

And I'm here for the same reason Brett and Von Halen still spend time and mullah to run Van Halen sites despite not supporting this tour - cause I still love Classic Van Halen, and maybe I still have hope that they'll turn this shill around...
Besides, I run the political forum anyways...
And why would I suddenly stop calling out Ed and Al just because they signed on Dave to what is still a lot of uncertainty...Last edited by Nickdfresh; 08-20-2007, 09:43 PM.Comment

I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm surprised to see Ed and Dave back together, to tell you the truth, especially with Ed's health problems. If I can see them in Boston before they start fighting again and the tour blows up, then I'll be happy.
3/4 is better than nothing, at least from my perspective. If a fan doesn't like it, there's always those six remastered discs sitting there waiting to be listened to.Comment

Bah.
Am always gonna disagree that CVH was all about Dave.
Far as the royalties go, thought it was bullshit that Roth got his percentage decreased in the 1990s and the same applies to whatever Anthony is getting now, but it's not something I even give a moments thought to when listening to the music, so all of that and the Anthony image erasing is kind of moot, really.
Despite all my protestations about this current VH endeavour, I may still end up trying to see it...yeah, yeah, hypocritical, whatever...Elly and others do make a point that if one would see Roth solo these days, or see Ed and Dave with whoever playing drums and bass, then the Wolfie thing shouldn't stop one from going to the show and enjoying it. Still a specious arguement to me in some ways, but...
What the fuck, you know? Ed and Dave have always been one of those magic rock combinations to me, like Page/Plant, Jagger/Richards, Townshend/Moon, etc.; so little of it is in supply now, and I do wanna see if they can recapture lightning in a bottle...
Essentially, if they do pull off a hat-trick and come up with something special, I'm gonna regret not seeing and hearing it live.
MaddVibe, glanced at the dates and didn't see any shows coming our way - are they playing down here?Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment

Seeing Spammy live was bad enough. Seeing bass player support Spammy on stage in person was fucking unforgivable to me. Personally---I'm glad he's gone.
Anyway--good luck with the political forum stuff. If you change your mind about the tour and you find yourself on the west coast...I'll buy you a beer.Comment
